The Madrid group Sidecars publishes "180 degrees", a preview of their new album "Trece" which will be released on September 16th and they announce the first dates of their album presentation tour: December 23rd at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona and December 28 at the Wizink Center in Madrid. "180 degrees" is a new comforting song, something like going to the usual bar and having your people still here, those you know but who never stop surprising you, those you need to hear to continue understanding things. It's not the return of Sidecars because they haven't gone away, they've had the bar open all this time, with this “Background Noise” in the middle of so much silence, with this music they've kept alive live.

They're not gone, but walking into that place and finding that something new sounds, well played, well felt, continues to reconcile you with the things you believe in. It's comforting to arrive at the bar and have your people confess to you their (so shared) bewilderment, that feeling that there's no one behind the wheel, that saturates reality. "180 degrees" is the continuation of the state of grace that Sidecars live in, a song sharper than it seems ("we celebrate the first anniversary between tears"), full of details and winks, although not as many as it has the video clip, absolutely hilarious in its accumulation of "thirteens", which works as a preamble to what is to come.
