Description

Laika, awarded the Max 2021 award for best show for family audiences, tells us about the wonders of the sky but also about the injustices on Earth. 1957. We are in Moscow. In the midst of the Cold War and the space race. Laika is a dog that survives racing in the frozen city. Little does he know that her destiny will take her into space on the Sputnik II ship and she will go down in human history as the first living being to orbit the Earth. Xirriquiteula Teatre uses diverse techniques in this show, such as live rear projections, puppets, automatons, shadows, the acting interpretation of some characters who speak in an invented Russian, accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack.
