Information

Date: 7 January - 7 February 2021

Description

Inverfest is the name of the cycle of winter concerts that the Circo Price Theatre organises to see in the New Year. Following the success of previous editions, once more there is a line-up with musical proposals for all tastes at the Circo Price Theatre and at venues like the Condeduque Contemporary Culture Centre and Teatro Coliseum. From 8 January to 7 February, performances by renowned artists, such as Marwan, Ándres Suárez, Pasión Vega and Carlos Núñez, among others, can be seen.

With the Teatro Circo Price as the main venue, Inverfest is the cycle which premières tours and albums that anticipate the 2021 musical scene. For three weeks, great groups will be performing on stage, ranging from cabaret, symphonic music, flamenco and absolute rock sounds.

This latest edition will include performances by artists like Marwan, the poet and singer-songwriter from Madrid of Palestinian descent. Considered to be one of the best recognised singer-songwriters in Spain, he will perform songs from his latest album, El viejo boxeador.

The Spanish singer song-writer, Andrés Suárez, will give a concert in which his eighth album, Andrés Suárez, can be heard. The artist, Pasión Vega, will also participate in this festival, presenting Todo Lo Que Tengo. It is an album in which she pays her own tribute to Latin American music and folklore through a repertoire written by different composers from both sides of the Atlantic.

The maestro of the pipes, Carlos Núñez, a regular at this festival, will also be present with a repertoire in which he narrates experiences related to his musical career. The artist from Pamplona, Enrique Villarreal, better known as El Drogas, one of the icons of the genre in Spain and known for leading the group, Barricada, with which he was extremely successful, can also be seen on stage.

This edition's line-up is rounded off with artists from the music scene, such as Los Hermanos Cubero, Jansky, Elvira Sastre, Amorante, Juno, Cala Vento, Lorena Álvarez, María José Llergo and Fredi Leis.

Like in the last edition, it is committed to music for all ages with Inverfest New Rockers, a section within the festival devoted to the new generations of live music fans. As part of the cycle, Depedro, the musical project led by Jairo Zavala, will be back for yet another year, reviewing diverse songs from his repertoire and particularly from his latest album, Todo va a salir bien, as well as some singles from his previous album, El Pasajero.
