Description
Fausto Taranto continues to solidify its place in the music scene with the release of its new album, Ruina, amor y navaja (Ruin, Love, and Knife), published on January 20th. With a career spanning since 2014, the band has forged a strong and recognizable identity based on Andalusian Metal, a unique style that blends the power of metal with flamenco guitars and vocals, resulting in a sound that is deeply rooted, visceral, and contemporary.
Over more than a decade, Fausto Taranto has built an unmistakable sonic personality, where Andalusian tradition engages with the energy of metal and lyrics that explore the chiaroscuro of the human experience: love, loss, rage, and the beauty that emerges from ruin. Ruina, amor y navaja represents a new step in this evolution, showcasing a more mature, sharp, and honest band.
The album also features outstanding collaborations that reinforce its eclectic and emotional character, such as Miguel Campello, Noni (Lori Meyers), Loren Gonzalez (Bulo / Robe) and Eva Manzano, bringing unique nuances to an already intense and diverse work.
