What started out as a simple Jordi Évole diversion off the television screen has become a solid band that performs live at festivals and venues throughout Spain. And it is still fun but, after more than 50 concerts, it is now shared by thousands of smiling people, including not only the public but anyone who has been lucky enough to enjoy the magic that Los Niño Jesús transmits. From the artists who have come up to sing with them (Amaral, Kiko Veneno, Mikel Erentxun, Albert Pla, Noni Meyers, La La Love You, Lichis...) to the promoters themselves and all the people who surround a concert.
And what is this about? That Jordi Évole takes the stage surrounded by five good friends who are great musicians and better people, to offer a set of versions passed through a unique and personal sieve. Estopa, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Extremoduro, Duncan Dhu, Carolina Durante, El Último de la Fila, Kiko Veneno... and, of course, Jarabe de Palo, since in the end it was Pau Donés who was in charge of convincing Jordi to jump into the pool. The result, as seen in Sonorama, Leturalma, Extremusika, Bilbao BBK Live and so many other places, can only be defined with one word: FANTASY.
