The concert program begins with a selection of works by the American composer Philip Glass (Baltimore 1937), protagonist of José Imhof's latest record Like a sparkle in the mist. Glass's music is characterized by its simplicity and its immediate appeal to the audience. contemporary ear. Balsamic harmonies, repetitive structures, energetic pulse... he is an author who he is not afraid of beauty and helps us to prepare the atmosphere of concentration necessary for delve into the second part of this recital, the monumental suite in G by Jean-Philippe Rameu (1683-1764).
