For the second year, we present this series of Concerted Dialogues, inviting several of the masters from the Barenboim-Said Foundation.

They are part of a select group of Europe's finest musicians, many of whom play in the most prestigious orchestras, from the Berlin Philharmonic to the Spanish National Orchestra, and all—without exception—are outstanding chamber musicians. To the natural exercise of musical dialogue inherent in making chamber music, they have added teaching: that generous and transcendent way of engaging in dialogue across generations and differences. These exceptional musicians are part of the Barenboim-Said Foundation's teaching staff and come to Seville every month to train and inspire young musicians in what is typically an intense and fruitful visit.

This inherent vocation for encounter and fraternity, so fundamental to the Barenboim-Said project and so constitutive of this land—a mosaic of encounter and diversity throughout the centuries—is what has driven the Teatro de la Maestranza to expand this dialogue beyond the Foundation's classrooms and into the concert hall, making these visits even more fruitful and fostering dialogue with the public.
