Description
Natos y Waor are a Madrid rap duo characterized by raw, cheeky lyrics and without mincing words. Standard bearers of the transformation of the music industry, setting their own standards without forgetting their principles. They have managed to travel the path from the underground to the mainstream, with their own rules, maintaining the attitude that has always characterized them, and that has had so much hook among their fans, who join all over the planet.
On Tuesday, September 13, how could it be otherwise, Natos and Waor presented their fourth album: "Luna llena". A record in which they play with many different styles but it is also the one in which, perhaps, they look back the most and reflect on so many years at the foot of the canyon. They reconcile with themselves, with their past, and they do it through their lyrics but also through their sound with the invaluable company of their trusted combo: Gareta on production and Jack Sheehan on guitar. Nothing can go wrong. In short, "Luna llena" is made up of a total of 13 songs and the collaborations of Recycled J and Kutxi Romero. Once again Natos and Waor exceeded a million streams in their first 24 hours with "Luna llena", their latest work being the most listened to rap album in Spain on the day of its release in the history of digital platforms, followed by "Hijos de the ruin Vol. 3» and «Scars».
At the beginning of the year Gonzalo and Fer announced the album, and already in June they surprised with the publication of "Septiembre", the first advance. A month later they released the second, along with his dearest brother Recycled J, "Until the sun rises". At the beginning of August, the third came out: "Cure of humility"; and in September they put honey on our lips with the fourth and last: "You were right."
The duo began 2022 divided by collaborating on two singles: Waor in “Suburbiales” with Kaos Urbano, and Natos joins the famous actor Jaime Lorente in “Guapo y Loco”. Advancement of the next EP of the new singer ready to make a career in music, “La noche”. Shortly before, Hijos de la Ruina (Natos, Waor and Recycled J), were once again the focus of all eyes after unveiling their third volume on Tuesday, April 13. The long-awaited “Hijos de la Ruina Vol. 3”, with which they exceeded all expectations and became the most played Hip Hop album on the day of its release in Spain. The first single, “Nosotros”, achieved absolute success, being the leader in the trends on YouTube Spain, during the first 4 days after its release. The second preview, “Más Alcohol”, has surprised as well as excited its unconditional fans.
This second advance, which saw the light before the EP itself, moves away from the purest rap to get closer to rock, a record in which the skull trio has developed like a fish in water. In June 2020 they published "Underground Kings"; a project that initially premiered through Movistar+, ranking among the most popular content on the platform. Later they shared it on their YouTube channel and they occupy the third position of trends after its premiere. In it, the artists themselves narrate in detail what their life and career was like: where they grew up, how they met and what was the process that led them to go from singing in squatter houses in exchange for a bottle of rum to being crowned at the top of rap in Spanish. Likewise, in 2020 he gave us Volumes 19 (Waor – “ALCATRAZ”). and 20 (Natos – “RÄIKKÖNEN”) of his mythical Barras Bravas, and both entered the top 3 of the most viral on YouTube. The Barras Bravas cuts include different themes, such as Miguel Campello's in “Gato de Callejón”, collaborations with foreign artists in “Willing to Die”, in collaboration with C.R.O & Homer el Mero Mero (Bardero$) that have exceeded 2 ,5 million plays on YouTube in 10 days, or songs like “Tranquilito”, by Natos, in collaboration with Alejandro Deese… all of them, singles with a great reception, which have kept them in YouTube Trends in the highest positions in their release days and after.
They have three demos: Por la Jeta (2011), Catarsis (2012) and Hijos de la Ruina (2012), (with Recycled J), and four albums: Caja Negra (2014), Tuesday 13 (2015), Hijos de la Ruina Vol. 2 (with Recycled J) and Cicatrices (2018), all edited and distributed without the help of any record label, brought forward only thanks to their dedication, love and sacrifice, of which they sold thousands of copies, combining over time with the so-called Barras Bravas. Considered as The Kings of Spanish Rap, their numbers support them.
