PADILLA SIBILINGS & TALLER DE SWING

Information
Description
The Padilla siblings (Paula and Marcos) have been listening to music together their entire lives, largely due to family influences. It's no coincidence that their father's records are part of the story behind the birth of their most popular project: the band O Sister!
Therefore, their passion for swing, African-American roots music, and vocal harmonies was long established, like birds of the same nest.
It's now, after years of experience chirping together and separately, that they decide to fully embrace a beautiful repertoire where they play with blues, hot jazz, and second-line rhythms, as if on a trip to the city of New Orleans—very present in this songbook.
Two voices blended in harmony, so we can't stop tapping our feet, have expanded their lineup to a quartet format, with the participation of two great musicians, veteran companions of the Seville swing scene: Rafa Torres and Nacho Botonero.
A tribute to the Mississippi Delta, a melting pot of cultures, where Negro spirituals coexisted with folk music and the earliest jazz was forged.
