´Cantes de Reyes´ is the first recording work by the young cantaora Reyes Carrasco, in which she captures her experiences and her personal view of flamenco, and which she now wants to share on stage in a show, in which classicism and youth in the prodigious voice of this artist, already considered one of the great promises of flamenco at a national level.

Reyes Carrasco has grown up listening to the masters of cante and now he wants to bring his experience to the present day, based on the conviction that the youngest have a lot to say in flamenco, looking ahead, but without losing one's feet on the ground, rescuing what oldest and making it ours.

The songs of the great masters that have accompanied her since her childhood are revived in this show through the introspective path of the old, her references and her searches. She remembers Pastora's seguiriyas, she remembers Cuba and maestro Marchena, the land of bullfighters por alegrías, the suffering in the mine, and of course, the rowdy joy of bulerías.

Reyes Carrasco wants to open a door for the contemplation of the classics, to peek into the depths of a sound with more than 200 years of history from our time.

And it is that youth is not at odds with respect for the classics. An exquisite repertoire with a first-rate cast accompanying the great voice of Reyes Carrasco, whose temper and flamenco dazzle on all stages, building bridges between youth and the most recognizable classical sounds for all flamenco lovers.
