But the Halloween night that Michael Myers returns is not over yet. Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) leave the ruthless masked killer locked up and burning in the protagonist's basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with severe burns, believing to have finally finished with the one who has turned his whole life into hell. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie's trap, he takes up her bloodbath ritual. Fighting her pain and preparing to defend herself against her tireless nemesis, Laurie inspires the entire population of Haddonfield to rise up against this unstoppable monster. The Strodes join a group of survivors of Michael's first attack who decide to take justice into their own hands and form a citizen patrol in order to hunt down Michael once and for all. Evil will die tonight.
