Ben and Saoirse live in the lighthouse on a small island. One day, their father decides to send them to live in the city with their grandmother to protect them from the dangers of the sea. There, Ben discovers that his sister is a selkie, a sea fairy, who can use her songs to free magical beings from the spell cast by the Owl Witch.
Inspired by selkies, mythological beings from Irish folklore, this feature film won the award for Best Animated Feature at the European Film Awards and was nominated for an Academy Award.
