Now, On November 4, 2021, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Doors' latest studio album, LA WOMAN (1971), The Doors: Live At The Bowl '68 Special Edition will transform cinemas into concert halls to give fans of the band the closest experience to being in person with Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, who stated that “the magic with which the image and sound quality of this performance has been improved will make everyone thinks they are in the front row of the Hollywood Bowl. " To celebrate LA WOMAN, this special event includes a brand new performance and talk with John Densmore, Robby Krieger and The Doors manager Jeff Jampol, filmed exclusively for the big screen. This "Special Edition", conceived for screening on cinemas, creates an unrivaled cinematic experience for the band's fans. The film was remastered in spectacular Dolby ATMOS® sound (in equipped theaters) and 5.1 surround sound by Bruce Botnick, the original engineer and mixer for The Doors, who recorded in he performed the concert at the Hollywood Bowl in 1968 and co-produced LA WOMAN.Meticulously restored from the original negatives and remixed and remastered using the original multitrack tapes, The Doors: Live At The Bowl '68 Special Edition presents the entire concert, including “ Hello, I Love You ”,“ The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat) ”,“ Light My Fire ”and“ The End ”.
