Dramatized visit to the Tablada Barracks: 100 years of aviation

With this project designed by Engranajes Culturales and the Tablada Aerial Barracks in collaboration with ASET (Sevillian Association of Tourism Companies) and EUSA, we intend to introduce visitors and citizens of Seville to one of the most unique historical enclaves of the city of Seville. What we will do is relive some of the most outstanding feats in the history of aviation: its characters, the most memorable flights or the most iconic planes. The Tablada Quarterback is an immense space with dozens of secret corners. With these dramatized visits, starring two of the most important aviators in the history of Spanish aviation: captains Ignacio Jiménez Martín-Plaza and Mariano Barberán, crew members of the BREGET XIX “Jesús del Gran Poder” and “Cuatrovientos” planes, respectively. . We will discover the Tablada neighborhood, its tangible and intangible heritage. Together with them, we will visit the Tiro Pichón building and the funds of his permanent collection, (Historical Room), its Plaza de Armas, the different commemorative monuments and we will be able to access the botanical garden of the old Officers' Pavilion. Through an itinerant theatrical montage we will recreate some of the most important feats that featured Tablada as well as different stories and anecdotes that will reveal to the general public the great flights and of course the link between Seville and Tablada.

Hygiene's norm:

• It will not be possible to pay in cash or purchase the ticket before the activities • Small groups, according to current legislation. • The use of masks will be mandatory (Both in open and closed spaces from 6 years old, inclusive)

• Whenever possible, a safety distance of 2 m should be maintained. • Before each visit, disinfectant hydrogel will be provided to all participants. • It is recommended not to touch any object during the visit.

• The different objects or didactic material used in the activities will be disinfected before and after use by the assistants and handled with gloves. Security Considerations: • On arrival remember that you must park outside the entrance roundabout of the Tablada Air Station.

• Remember that it is ESSENTIAL TO PRESENT YOUR ID at the identification window before entering the venue. If you do not bring it, you will not be able to access the visit and there will be no change of date or refund of the entrance fee.

• The entries are nominative and all data and ID must match the person who attends the visit. General conditions prior to the visit: Remember that minors must always be accompanied by at least one paying adult.

The meeting point is mandatory to be 30 MIN BEFORE, at ACAR Tablada (Av. Maestranza Aérea, 41011 Seville) The activity can be suspended by the organization due to lack of capacity, adverse weather conditions or any other cause, in which case the full amount of the ticket will be refunded. The tour is adapted for people with reduced mobility. (The visit has a distance of about 1,200 km.) The activity is not recommended for children under 8 years old. If they wish to attend, they must pay for their tickets and be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is forbidden to carry out the activity with objects or substances that may pose a risk to the integrity of people or parts.
