The more than 20 previous editions held in Seville have been the starting point for many local startups and a safe meeting space for all the entrepreneurial talent in the city. After two virtual editions we were looking forward to returning to the in-person editions.

WHAT IS TECHSTARS STARTUP WEEKEND SEVILLE?
Techstars Startup Weekend Seville is an incredible space where we will spend 54 hours together as a team.

We want this edition to once again be a great brainstorm where we show the talent and the great ideas that can be carried out.

WHO IS IT DIRECTED TO?
To people with different skills: software developers, programmers, graphic and web designers, business people, researchers, educators, human resources, humanities, advisors, artists, salespeople, marketing and communication, entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs, whether beginners or experts... Anyone with initiative is welcome.

Techstars Startup Weekend is “risk-free international waters” – immerse yourself in the exciting world of startups.

It's not just about the idea, it's about the team! Teams are formed around the most voted ideas on the first day, so you can contribute to the business idea that most inspires you with your knowledge and experience. We are all important at Startup Weekend Sevilla.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
We start on Friday with a round of presentations, where we can all present an idea in an intense minute. After listening to them all, a vote is taken to choose the most popular ones, and the people who have presented these ideas will have the responsibility of forming a team to develop it.

During Saturday and Sunday, teams design and shape their project with the help of mentors until finally developing their startup's business plan.

On Sunday afternoon the teams present their proposals before a panel of judges, in a 5-minute pitch, who will choose the winner of the event. Don't forget that Sevilla Startup Weekend is the perfect opportunity to make your idea a reality, learn in record time about the stages necessary to form a company and establish professional contacts.

Terms of Participation Agreement:
It is our job to provide you with an incredible networking and learning experience. Our intention is that you meet some amazing people that you might start a company with, learn from mentors as well as learning from your peers. The event is intended to be a collaborative forum for sharing, learning, building, and having fun. As such, by registering as a participant, you acknowledge that any ideas shared by you or anyone else over the course of the event are contributions to the overall experience and community. If you're very concerned, you can limit your pitch to the rough outline of the idea without giving away key information.

As a member of your startup community, you agree to be inclusive of any and all people and their ideas. You agree to act professionally, treat everyone with respect, and treat the event facilities with proper care. You agree that you are responsible in the event of any accidents or damages that you cause. You also agree to not hold Techstars Startup Weekend, your local volunteer team, or any of the event supporters liable for any loss, damage, injury, or any other unforeseeable incident.

By participating in the event, you grant Techstars Startup Weekend permission to capture photos/videos of the event.
