Artifact: All Bodies Form the Landscape

A workshop created by artist Albert Potrony. From January 22 to August 24, 2025. A work of art, a versatile piece of furniture, or a workshop material. Artefacto is all of these things: a mobile device, halfway between an art installation and a pedagogical resource, specifically designed to host mediation proposals and educational materials, created by artists and energized by an educator. All Bodies Form the Landscape is the artistic and mediation proposal designed by artist Albert Potrony for Artefacto.

This workshop invites you to imagine and create shared landscapes based on your own body in relation to the different sculptural elements of the artifact. Playing will become an individual and collective exploration of artistic disciplines such as installation and performance. It combines rigid geometric pieces with soft, flexible elements to connect our bodies through them, transforming ourselves and the space at the same time. Test, build, rehearse, make, undo, and redo. Reinvent the infinite possibilities of the Artifact with each participation!

A workshop created by Albert Potrony, a multidisciplinary artist born in Catalonia and based in the United Kingdom who uses sculpture, installation, and performance as a basis for exploring participatory artistic processes. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Tate, Serpentine Galleries, Whitechapel Gallery, South London Gallery, Gasworks, Camden Arts Centre, V&A (London), Serralves Foundation (Porto), and La Panera Art Center (Lleida).

This activity is recommended for families with children ages 4 and up. Hours
March 22 and 29 and April 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

March 23 and 30, April 6, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 20, and June 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

June 21 and 22, July 5, 6, 26, and 27, and August 9, 10, 23, and 24, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., free sessions with advance reservation.

August 8 and 22, at 12:30 p.m., free sessions with advance reservation.

Activity with free admission until capacity is reached.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sessions starting June 21 will be free with advance reservation. Ticket reservations will be available the day before.
