REMOTE-CONTROLLED SOUND WORKSHOP
FROM SEPTEMBER 20 TO DECEMBER 21, 2025 What is sound? When something is struck, why can I hear it from far away? Could we hear without air? We perceive the sounds of the world around us thanks to the medium that allows them to propagate: air. Even though we may not be aware that it's there, air, in addition to helping us breathe, allows us to hear.
In this activity, we will explore how sound propagates through space and through different mediums, using experiments and devices to transmit and observe vibrations.
Recommended for ages 4 and up.
Activity duration: 1 hour
