This Saturday, Valencia celebrates European Music Day with free open-air concerts
Enjoy a free, open-air musical event in Valencia for European Music Day.
On June 21, 2025, Valencia joins European Music Day with a day full of concerts and cultural activities, both outdoors and indoors.
A true celebration to bring music to all audiences, experience it on the streets, and enjoy it for free.
Complete program to celebrate European Music Day
Mare de Déu Square
The event starts at 12:00 pm with the Quintet de Metalls Al Vent, who will not only play but will also make you part of the concert. A perfect participatory way to start the day.
In the afternoon, at 7:00 p.m., the square will once again be filled with sound with the tabal i dolçaina group Russafa-Fa, who will liven things up with a repertoire of traditional Valencian music.
And at 11:00 p.m., the Valencia Municipal Band, conducted by Cristóbal Soler, will round off the day with a very special concert coinciding with the Corpus Christi festival.
The program includes pieces—some premieres—such as "Doctor García Armengol," "Cançons de mare," "La leyenda del beso," "Carrer de volta," "Es xopà hasta la Moma," and the Anthem of the Valencian Community.
Palau de la Música
At 12:00 p.m., a new session of "Diàlegs al Palau" will be held in the Rodrigo Hall, where journalist Miguel Coll will interview the musical group Hearendless.
And in the afternoon, at 7:00 p.m., the Pequeños Cantores de València (Little Singers of Valencia) will offer their Spring Concert in the Palau's Iturbi Hall.
A free, open celebration that demonstrates that music, when it takes to the streets, can fill them with joy.
