Description
América Sánchez, the distinguished Argentine designer and photographer, settles in the Drawing Cabinet with «Bidujos»: one of his most personal exhibitions. In 1979, América Sánchez defined the art of drawing as "the oldest, most modern, difficult and cheapest means of expression in the world". In this exhibition, the artist takes the opportunity to share with the public a careful selection of his work on paper, revealing his important but little-known facet as a cartoonist. Sánchez has classified the pieces by genres that range from fauna, botany and landscape to sections of hairdressing drawings, wild boars or food, passing through other spaces dedicated to photography or portraits. Also part of the exhibition are series such as “Romanesque Portraits” or “Pintan coarse”; calligraphic postcards and various works loaded with their own, sincere and emotional messages. If you are passionate about the world of drawing and design, you have until September 9 to enjoy «Bidujos»: the latest project by this versatile artist.
