Until September 21, 2025, the Contrafuertes Room at the Centre del Carme opens its doors to "37 Illustrious x 37 Illustrated," an exhibition that links past and present in a highly interesting visual dialogue.

In this exhibition, 37 illustrators—from the press, comics, mural painting, and publishing—interpret 37 other Valencian painters who, from the late 19th century to the present, have driven the evolution of modern art.

Here you'll see how each contemporary creator is able to immerse themselves fully in the identity, culture, and emotions of the artist they honor.
