The MARQ of Alicante will host an exhibition on the Warriors of Xian between April 29 and October 31, 2021 .

The exhibition 'The Terracotta Warriors of Xian. Eternal Guardians of the First Emperor 'will bring to MARQ an exceptional collection of about 160 pieces of the material culture of ancient China. These include 9 original warriors and a terracotta horse from the Museum of the Mausoleum of the First Emperor. Which were declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. Many of these pieces will return to Europe and some of them will visit it for the first time. After the last stay of the Xian Warriors at the Liverpool World Museum in 2018, visited by more than 700,000 people.

As a result of the exchange of the official documentation transferred between the parties, the definitive list of objects, their total valuation, the security measures plan, as well as the loan protocol have also been obtained; having also requested the required permits and authorizations from the Ministries of Culture of China and Spain, respectively. An intense management work that advances in the planning and final programming of the different administrative phases of the project with all the guarantees, on the new dates now established.
