The Agriculture Casino together with the Fundación el Secreto de la Filantropía, have created a new exhibition space with the aim of offering activities of cultural interest that promote art, literature, thought and solidarity. «Female Identities in the Luis Trigo Collection» has been the exhibition chosen for the opening of this room.
This exhibition covers works dating from the second half of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century so that, through art, the viewer can appreciate the progressive change in mentality regarding the role of women throughout the ages. years.
The exhibition is made up of thirty-two pieces from Luis Trigo's private collection, created by artists such as Ignacio Zuloaga, Julio Romero de Torres, Isidro Nonell, Vicente López Portaña, Raimundo de Madrazo, Ramón Casas or Daniel Vázquez Díaz, among others. With this exhibition, the Secret of Philanthropy also invites society to reflect on the importance of sharing private historical heritage with the general public, in order to revitalize these art collections and provide them with educational value.
