Description
To say silk is to talk about a golden age for Valencia that meant the transformation of the landscape and life in the city for centuries.
The Gremi de Vellutters, the silk velvet producers in Valencia, established their headquarters, back in the 15th century, in the building that today houses the Silk Museum. Once the ticket is purchased, you must call the number or send an email that appears on it to make the reservation for the day you want to attend.
A single visit is made from Tuesday to Sunday at 12 noon. It includes a visit by a specialized guide, a demonstration of the loom and a live demonstration of how silk is obtained from worms.
