This August “CCCCinema d’estiu” returns: the summer film series that transforms the cloister of the Centro del Carmen de Cultura Contemporánea (CCCC) into a peculiar open-air cinema.

Under the title “What are we laughing at in Europe?”, the program for the fourth edition of this event offers a careful selection of European comedies; no less than 26 films that invite you to take a geographical and temporal journey in which to discover the different forms of humor that the old continent has produced. The programming is starred by titles from different times and countries, but all share a common link, humor. Through them, the public discovers how European filmmakers have been able to extract humor from the most bitter situations in life... And that is part of the essence of this cycle that stops to see what makes us Europeans funny. Classics or more current films. They are all in the original version and with double subtitles in Spanish and Valencian.

The projections are from Tuesday to Sunday at 10:00 p.m. There is a cafeteria service —although you can take your dinner with you :)— and admission is free without prior reservation. Can you think of a better plan for summer nights?
