Meltdown Mickey started tapping in 1989 at some of the UK's first raves. As an original member of the Spiral Tribe soundsystem, he became known for his particular morning sets. Often sharing the sunrise alongside ravers, softened the hardest sounds of the night into the warm, wavy grooves of dawn.
He was also a key actor in pushing the boundaries of the collective even further, being at the head of the Soviet Mig fighter aircraft transport convoy. In this mythical adventure the Spiral Tribe, together with the collective of artists and performers Mutoid Waste Company, created the "Lost Tribe of Mig" Organizing parties at the gate of Branderburg in Berlin, in which it was one of the most iconic parties of the freeparty movement and making, in turn, the first raids in the Czech Republic.

He has flashed into a variety, almost infinite, of important events over the last twenty years, including festivals the size of Nordik Impact or Glastonbury. In 2000 he co-founded the label Audiotrix with Ixindamix, and his influence on talent search and artist development has been essential to the label's success. Likewise, managing much of the logistics, he helped launch his record store in 2011.
Meltdown Mickey's funky, deep sound has earned him international recognition for the past 20 years. Today, she brings a depth of soul to the mix that is both fresh and timeless.
