Description

30 years of theatrical success in London
After 30 uninterrupted years of success, 'The Woman in Black' has become the longest-running non-musical play, after Agatha Christie's 'The Mousetrap', in London's West End.

With more than 10 million viewers and produced in 40 countries, 'The Woman in Black' tells the story of Arthur Kipps, a middle-aged lawyer who rents a theater and hires a professional actor to help him tell a ghostly event and tragic thing that happened to him and his own family and that he has never been able to reveal to anyone.

With the help of the actor, the abandoned sets of the theater and the imagination - which is infinite and very powerful - they interpret Kipps' story to such a point that the ghostly nature of the story becomes real and the spectators will live one of the experiences most terrifying of his entire life in a theater.

The play is based on the novel of the same name by Susan Hill and was adapted by Stephen Mallatratt for the stage in 1987.

As a novelty, the proposal enhances the conceptual part of the performance with the scenery and costumes, and provides it with new and magical effects that enhance the world beyond, with illusionism, music and projections, so that the spectators experience a immersive horror experience. A fascinating and attractive genre, both in literature and on the small or big screen, but one that has rarely been brought to the theater. Furthermore, the text connects with the most animal essence of the human being, therefore it is inevitable to identify and that is why it is a unique experience.
