The third exhibition of Temporada illustrada is here. This time it is the turn of Nuria Riaza: She has exhibited both individually (in galleries such as Plastic Murs, Pepita Lumier or Miscelanea Barcelona) and collectively (Art Contemporani de la Generalitat Valenciana IV, Mujeres en Arte Amalia Avia, Drawing Room Art Fair, Occult and Illustrated...). Her work focuses on the real role that the figure of women has had in contexts in which History (and memory) have silenced her. In the way in which any creative manifestation made by the female gender has been devalued, calling it entertainment and not art, becoming part of folklore. In her projects, she gives great importance to manual means of expression such as embroidery, drawing and ceramics. They become a direct connection bridge with our roots.
