Description
Rut Santamaría and Carla Piñana
Irreverent, feisty, ironic, sometimes absurd
Two microphones, one stage, lots to laugh about, and a few secrets to share. A story about overcoming adversity through humor and absurdity. Our protagonists yearn to be the most modern, to work, to succeed, to be happy... but the stone of Sisyphus seems to have taken a liking to them.
A comedy show about unstoppable optimists and unwavering losers. A comedy about the search for second, third, fourth, fifth... (x) chances. A journey of laughter to highlight the power of friendship as medicine and the crucial cathartic value of art.
"We laugh at our profession, the artistic and professional world, the passage of time, ourselves, cancer, and almost everything..."
Migas (of crumbs)
Two "kind of optimistic characters" who never lose hope in the face of anything and who, in their search for happiness, or a decent job, or success, or eternal youth, or survival, or equal opportunities, or Instagram followers... (they mix it all up), take their own particular "hero's journey" accompanied by the audience.
We experience with them a journey of hilarious setbacks in a search for identity and acceptance of oneself and others.
Irreverent, combative, ironic, sometimes absurd, and often surreal, they share with us, through a variety of situations, their yearnings free of taboos and solemnity.
What those who have already seen it say
"An interesting critique crafted from the most ingenious comedy, addressing each topic with a sharp and biting humor that makes us enjoy and reflect in equal measure."
"That's Rut Santamaría and Noemi Climent in Migas (of crumbs): fighters, confidants, recurring, resourceful, boasting of always stumbling over the same stone, but eventually getting back up."
"The play directed by Chos is a win-win no matter how you look at it. It will make you disconnect from your life and you'll enjoy every one of its gags."
