Description

The musical accompaniment for the Poetry Night will be provided by MIQUEL ANGEL AGUILO. (Palma of Mallorca).
Conductor, soloist, performer and composer. Studying cello with Miriam Rader and Claudia Gabrielli in Mallorca, and also with G. Cars in Barcelona. Obtain the 66 professional degree at the Palma Professional Conservatory. Later, he entered the Rotterdam conservatory and achieved the Title of Professor DM. At the Conservatory of the Balearic Islands he studies with professor Marçal Cervera and obtains the Superior Title of cello. Conducts numerous cello and chamber music courses with H. Stegenga or Christophe Coin, among others. Currently he heads the City of Ibiza Symphony Band, where he resides.
Distinguished with: Stage Award for Best Original Music (2011). National Prize of Culture from the Generalitat of Catalonia (2008). National Music Award 2008, awarded by the Ministry of Culture for the best octopus album. Woody and Woody's BSO composition, Goya for the Best Animation Short Film of the Year 2018. Among others.
He has composed concerts for orchestra and for large format shows, as well as soundtracks for cinema and audiovisuals.
