Can Bernat Vinya reps in the garden the contemporary jazz band The Washington St. Quartet, which is on a small tour of Ibiza. This formation is of recent creation and is going to Boston (the State Units), with the name of the career residing in the majority of its members. They are students of the prestigious Berklee School of Music and, in most cases, Spanish, face residents of the State Units. One of them is the eivissenc guitarist Marc Serra, who has taken advantage of the summer holidays to invite them to perform on the local stages. The influences of this instrumental formation of guitar, trombone, bass and drums pass through Immanuel Wilkins, Kurt Rosenwinkel or Joshua Redman, among other musicians.

Marc Serra, from Can Creu (Sant Josep, 2006), is currently studying Guitar Jazz Performance at the citat center formatiu, apparently joining Nir Felder, Dave Santoro, John Lockwood, David Gilmour, Oz Noy, Crystal Torres, Berta Rojas and Tim Miller, among others. She will also receive the Gibson Gives scholarship from the Latin Grammy Foundation and Eivissa will also be able to found the young group The New Young Polaks when she was just a teenager and also perform with Little Pomegranate Honey.

The trombone belongs to Albert Climent (València, 1999), guanyador of the Brass Showcase organized by the Berklee and also won a dozen prizes in international competitions. He has played world-famous music, such as Joe Lovano, Dick Oatts, Joe Magnarelli, Scott Hamilton, Don Aliquo, Periquito Sambeat, David Pastor, 'Latino' Blanco and Jesús Santandreu.

The bassist of the group is Nico Jin (South Korea, 2002), a fellow student at Berklee College of Music, who collaborates with artists as close as Kenny Werner, the most famous member of the great Dave Santoro.

On drums is Daniel de Buades (Madrid, 2002), who will study the Master Program at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, and will be under the direct supervision of Joe Lovano, John Patitucci and Danilo Pérez. In addition, he has worked with world-renowned music, such as Ingrid Jensen or Isaac Romagosa, performing on stages at the Panama Jazz Festival and Dizzy's Club at Lincoln Center.
