THE ADVENTURE OF EDUCATION IN THE FAMILY – XVII EDITION

The conferences will take place on February 6 and 20 and will address parenting, autonomy and the emotional well-being of childhood.

The City Council of Santa Eulària des Riu presents a new edition of the series of conferences L'Adventure of educating in the Family. Enguany reaches the 17th edition and continues to maintain its spirit of reflection, learning and accompaniment to families in the upbringing and education of their children.

The conferences will be held at the Palau de Congressos d'Eivissa, on February 6 and 20, all due at 7:30 p.m. and with free admission. Furthermore, temperature monitors will be available to attend to the children who come to the other pairs and seas, facilitating in this way the assistance of the families.

The first session will take place on February 6 and will be held by Armando Bastida, with the presentation “Criar amb sentit comú: necessitats de la infància i com acompanyar-les”. Aimed at families, educators and childhood professionals, the conference will address the principles of respectful and practical parenting, based on scientific evidence and regarding the emotional and psychological development of children. During the intervention, Bastida will offer strategies to understand and accompany children's emotions and behaviors such as going to punishments, establishing clear limits of empathy, dismantling common myths about parenting and promoting co-responsibility and patience in everyday family life.

The cycle will continue on February 20 with the conference “Educating for life: autonomous, secure and happy children”, led by Marta Prada. In this session, you will reflect on the importance of accompanying children in their integral development, beyond academic or social success, promoting the autonomy, self-esteem and emotional well-being of young children. Prada will address how to create environments that favor decision-making, emotional education, establishing clear and respectful boundaries and the importance of educating through empathy, respect and coherence with the example of adults.

Municipal Family Guidance Service

The Family Education Adventure cycle is part of the municipal orientation service of the Santa Eulària City Council, a resource created to offer educational support to families and the community of the municipality.

This service combines actions of a community nature, with workshops, workshops and the Family School, with individualized attention that offers guidance and assessment to families in questions related to coexistence, family communication and the emotional development of children and adolescents. Through initiatives with this cycle of conferences, the City Council reinforces its commitment to prevention, support and support for families.
