ADDA Gallery opens its 2026 season in Ibiza with “Metropolis”, an exhibition by Camille Walala.
The French artist, based in London, is a leading figure in contemporary art and design. Known for her large-scale interventions and distinctive “tribal-pop” style, Walala takes over urban space with geometric forms energized by electric colors. Buildings, installations, textiles, objects, and artworks are transformed through her creative universe, bringing a sense of positivity to both the environment and the viewer.
“Metropolis” explores the energy, rhythm, and visual identity of the city through a distinctive and immersive language. The exhibition presents a series of fabric works inspired by urban architecture, alongside works on paper and limited editions.
Walala approaches the city as a living organism, where geometric forms, vibrant color palettes, and dynamic patterns come together to create abstract landscapes full of movement and energy.
A mural on the gallery’s façade completes the exhibition, extending Walala’s work and spirit into a dialogue between exterior and interior space.
