PERROTÓN MADRID 2022: XI SOLIDARY RACE* FOR THE ADOPTION AND RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP OF PET ANIMALS AND AGAINST ANIMAL ABANDONMENT AND ABUSE Perrotón Madrid 2022 is the XI edition of the Solidarity Race* for the Adoption and Responsible Ownership of Companion Animals and against Animal Abuse and Abandonment, whose ambassador is the actress and singer Alejandra Botto, who has had the Honorary Presidency of Her Majesty Queen Sofia in its 2013 and 2014 editions and which currently has Baroness Carmen Thyssen as Honorary President.

Perrotón Madrid 2022 the Race has the support of the Madrid City Council, the Department of the Environment, Housing and Agriculture of the Community of Madrid, the Alfonso X El Sabio University and the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid. Its objective is to promote and encourage the adoption and responsible ownership of pets in Spanish society.

On Sunday, October 9, 2022, the XI edition of the Race will take place, starting at Plaza de Colón at 10:00 a.m. and arriving at Plaza de Colón/Jardines del Discovery, with a distance of approximately 4 km. More than 5,000 dog lovers accompanied by their dogs will visit emblematic places such as Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza de Emilio Castelar, Paseo de Recoletos, Fuente de Cibeles and Calle Goya until they reach the finish line.
