There is music that accompanies a journey, music that evokes memories of one, and music that seems to set out on a journey of its own. This chapter of *Relatos del ruido* (Tales of Noise) brings together various ways of setting out, traversing, and returning: journeys on foot or by vehicle, movements between cultures, and trips that take place without ever leaving the listening space. The selected works invite us to pay attention to what changes along the way—in the sounds themselves, but also in the listener—even when the destination remains uncertain.
