A woman from a small Norwegian town faces the most difficult dilemma of her life when she falls in love with a young asylum seeker, beginning a clandestine romance that ultimately leads to devastating consequences for both of them. The story navigates the gray areas between naivety and exploitation, power and powerlessness—a space where sympathies constantly shift back and forth.
