If we talk about the history of theater in our country, it becomes essential to quote La Fura del Baus. Created in 1979, this Catalan company has been a key player in theatrical innovation, merging imagination, spectacularity, technology and performance in its productions from the very beginning to an extent unknown until now.

Founded by Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca, Carlus Padrissa, Pere Tantinyà, Quico Palomar and Teresa Puig more than 30 years ago, La Fura del Baus has evolved into a huge large-scale event factory. What began as an independent theater and street parade company rose to fame in 1992 with the opening of the Barcelona Olympic Games, and since then has not ceased to carry out million-dollar contracts. Accions, L'home del mil·lenni, Cantos de Sirena, El Amor Brujo or Carmina Burana are some of his most iconic creations to date.
