PERROTON MADRID 2023 NICKA RUN: XII RACE FOR THE ADOPTION AND RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP OF COMPANION ANIMALS AND AGAINST ANIMAL ABANDONMENT AND ABUSE

Live and Feel a Unique Experience in the largest dog lover event that takes place in Spain and Europe to enjoy accompanied by your dog as a family in favor of adoption and responsible ownership !! **In this new edition we present Perrotón Madrid 2023 Nicka Run, as a tribute to Nicka, the Chihuahua dog who for eleven years has been the image and voice of the voiceless in this unique initiative in the world. Perrotón Madrid 2023 Nicka Run is the XII edition of the Race for the Adoption and Responsible Ownership of Companion Animals and against Abandonment and Animal Abuse, at the initiative of Abott Producciones, whose ambassador is the actress and singer Alejandra Botto and which has the Honorary Presidency of Her Majesty Queen Sofía. Perrotón Madrid 2023 Nicka Run once again has the support of the Madrid City Council, the Ministry of the Environment, Housing and Agriculture of the Community of Madrid, and the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid. Its objective is to promote and foster the adoption and responsible ownership of companion animals and the fight against animal abuse and neglect in Spanish society. On Sunday, October 8, 2023, the XII edition of the race will take place, starting at Plaza de Colón at 10:00 a.m., and arriving at Plaza de Colón (Gardens of Discovery), with a distance of approx. 4.5 km. It will go through emblematic places such as Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza de Emilio Castelar, Plaza de Gregorio Marañón, Paseo de Recoletos, Fuente de Cibeles and Calle Goya until it reaches the finish line. *30% of the registrations for the race will go to the National Non-Profit Association Perrotón to carry out different castration and sterilization campaigns for dogs and cats from different shelters with low economic resources and campaigns for the prevention of leishmaniasis, with the collaboration and advice of the Veterinary Clinical Hospital of the Alfonso X El Sabio University, as well as different communication campaigns to promote the adoption and responsible ownership of companion animals in Spanish society. REGISTRATIONS OPEN FROM APRIL 15 TO SEPTEMBER 29 INCLUDED Collection Welcome Pack Perrotón Madrid 2023 Nicka Run: Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1. The English Court of Paseo de la Castellana - Sports Floor (5th floor). Hours from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The race also has the support of different organizations and private companies such as El Corte Inglés, Royal Canin, BB I Love Perrotón by Alejandra Botto, Scilvet, Frontpro, Dyson, Flexadin, Rover, Seguro Perrotón by Preventiva, as well as Public Institutions such as the City Council of Madrid, the DG of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Housing of the Community of Madrid, the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid, among others, and Media Partners such as EFE Agency, Big Screen , La Razón, Discine, Global, among others.
