Mycelium Public program of Everything Else

Date: 25 February - 28 May 2023

Mycelium is a hidden, underground tissue that holds together much of the world we inhabit, where weird and wonderful life forms force us to rethink how life works and how it is sustained. This analogy can be transferred to the artistic and cultural ecosystem of the city of Madrid, in the invisible role of creation spaces in this framework and its various practices and ways of doing things. The Micelio public program emerges from the exhibition proposals of each of the creation spaces that make up the exhibition Everything else in an alternate way, but interconnected with each other, nurturing the very place they inhabit and establishing a dialogue with different audiences. This program proposes a kind of performative tours, sound creation laboratories, festive gatherings, workshops, colloquiums and debates or research processes in residence, among other formats.
