ALEJANDRO SANZ | What Now?

Alejandro Sanz, one of the most prominent musicians on the Spanish and international music scene, will return to Seville. Specifically, the concert will take place on June 6th at the Cartuja Stadium, marking the start of his ‘What Now?’ tour in Spain. Tickets will go on sale starting October 9th on the artist's website.

After two years of creative exploration and studio work between Spain and the United States, Alejandro Sanz releases ¿Y Ahora Qué? (And Now What?), a project that marks the beginning of a new personal and artistic stage. This six-song album represents an evolution in his sound, his creative process, and his way of telling stories: more shared, more open, more alive.

The title stems from a question as commonplace as it is powerful. “And now what?” is the phrase Sanz repeats to himself at the end of a song, at the close of a tour, at the start of a new beginning. And it is precisely from this restlessness, from the one who is not content, who insists on getting back up, that these songs are born. From the emotional subtlety of “Palmeras en el Jardín” (Palm Trees in the Garden), which marks the rebirth of this process, to “Hoy No Me Siento Bien” (I Don't Feel Good Today) with Grupo Frontera, the album explores complex emotions with disarming honesty.

On this journey, he is accompanied by key voices from the current music scene: Manuel Turizo on “Cómo Sería,” and Shakira on “Bésame,” a historic collaboration that marks the third time the two artists have shared their emotions in a song. With production and songwriting contributions from names like Edgar Barrera, Elena Rose, Andy Clay, Spreadlof, CASTA, Richi López, Luis Salazar, and Hector Rubén Rivera, among others, Sanz explores new rhythms and genres with a freedom rarely seen in such an established career. The result is a body of work that sounds intimate, contemporary, and, above all, deeply human.

¿Y Ahora Qué? arrives at a pivotal moment for Sanz. Following special performances such as Premio Lo Nuestro and a surprise appearance alongside Shakira at the start of her US tour, the artist has just announced his “Ahora Qué” tour in Mexico, which will kick off in September with more than ten confirmed dates. The album not only celebrates his return to the studio but also solidifies the great artistic moment experienced by one of the most influential figures in music.
