Description

CRISTIAN DE MORET + JORGE PARDO

The event takes place at Teatro Triana (C/ Condes de Bustillo, 17). JORGE PARDO is a living legend of Spanish music; his career—marked by collaborations with artists such as PACO DE LUCÍA and CHICK COREA—cements his status as one of the greatest jazz musicians in history, a fact underscored by his 2016 award from the French Jazz Academy as Jazz Musician of the Year. Together with CRISTIAN DE MORET—an artist who brings freshness and innovation to the contemporary flamenco scene, as evidenced by his first two albums being named among the best of the year by the newspaper *EL PAÍS* in 2021 and 2023—they create a unique live experience that leaves no audience member indifferent. In this performance, both artists push the boundaries of traditional flamenco forms and rhythms, showcasing their distinct, singular approaches to their respective instruments. This bold live show—a hybrid of flamenco, jazz, and electronic sounds—consistently leaves audiences in awe. On stage, the concert becomes highly dynamic, transforming into a futuristic flamenco celebration; the performance evolves in real-time, engaging with the audience’s energy, thanks to a format that is remarkably adaptable to various spaces, atmospheres, and musical genres.
