Description
A night featuring three of the most compelling acts from the national alternative scene is coming to Fun Club Sevilla. .bd., Las Tristes, and Radio Palmer will share the stage for an event where shoegaze, post-punk, dream pop, and guitar-driven pop converge to create an intense, melancholic, and highly distinctive live experience.
Hailing from Madrid, .bd. brings a sound that has evolved from raw shoegaze toward a more melancholic pop style with complex instrumentation, drawing influences from post-rock and the contemporary British scene. Their songs weave together rural imagery and everyday elements with the uncertainties, emotional exhaustion, and anxieties of an entire generation. Following releases such as *salas/pasos/perdidos* and the EP *Economato Textil*, the band continues to refine an increasingly personal artistic vision.
Las Tristes, from Badalona, offer a dark, dissonant perspective where post-punk meets the cadence of urban music. Distortion, oppressive atmospheres, and lyrics brimming with attitude define a project that uses sadness as a springboard to explore themes of confrontation and empowerment. Their 2024 debut EP, *De Rally*, captures much of this sonic universe.
Rounding out the lineup is Radio Palmer, a group formed in Granada that approaches their concerts as spaces for collective catharsis. While their early work was rooted in guitar-driven pop—encompassing sunshine pop, jangle pop, and garage—they have since incorporated synthesizers, drum machines, vocal effects, and sampling. The result is a sound where danceable post-punk and dream pop coexist with a profound emotional and political dimension.
Three bands, three distinct approaches to alternative music—all in one night—offering a journey through melancholy, experimentation, darkness, and the raw energy of a live performance.
