Dramatized visit to the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija

Engranajes Culturales, in collaboration with the Casa Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija, have designed a series of very special theatrical visits: A closed-door and theatrical visit where the two floors of the Palace will be visited, discovering among mosaics and Roman sculptures the mythological stories they hide and visiting a real 19th century palace, full of works of art.

With the help of an actress dressed as the muse Clío, the muse of history, we will visit the ground floor of the Lebrija Palace, discovering its history and its Roman mosaics. During the visit, Rome will be united with Seville through the myths and gods that live in the house. In a unique experience you will discover one of the richest and most important palaces in the city and meet its founder, an essential woman in the history of Spanish collecting, Dª Regla Manjón y Mergelina, Countess of Lebrija. Clío will say goodbye to the group on the monumental staircase of the building to continue the guided tour to the upper floor, learning the secrets of the private residence of the counts of Lebrija and admiring very important works of art preserved in its rooms. We will visit the chapel, the gala dining room or the library.

The visit is designed as a unique experience where behind closed doors you will discover one of the most impressive palaces in the city, uniting ancient Rome with the history of Seville, discovering the secrets and loves of the gods of antiquity and the life and work of an exceptional and essential woman in history, Doña Regla Manjón, countess of Lebrija.
