Austin Lucas is a punk officer, activist, and songwriter from Bloomington, Indiana. From a young age, he developed a traveling spirit that led him to spend his formative years sitting in the driver's seat of countless touring vans. Miles and miles behind him, he made his home anywhere, from the American East Coast to the Czech Republic. Austin soon embraced a style based on a diverse mix of classic rock, country, punk, psychedelic folk, and pastoral music, and has built a career fusing those influences into something of his own. An emerging and recognizable talent that stands up to comparisons to some of the most recognizable icons of folk, country and American, updating roots music traditions while staying true to the DIY ethic. Of the punk that runs through his veins. He has toured with getes such as Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Ray Price, Brent Cobb, Frank Turner, Chuck Ragan, Dawes, Langhorne Slim, Joe Pug, John Moreland, Lucero and many others, and since 2006 he has released four albums. Listening to him or seeing him live is to discover that kind of well-kept secret that the world should not take long to know. During the covid pandemic and his confinement, Austin took refuge in Meinz, Germany. Despite being away from his home and his family, he used the extra time and found the inspiration and energy that proves that it is impossible to end a good troubadour. The result is the songs from his album "Alive In The Hot Zone!", Which he now comes to present with his guitar.
