Description

"An international painter" is the title of this exhibition that brings the works of Agrasot to the Museum of Fine Arts in València.

A painter who, back in 1902, was recognized by the Encyclopaedia Britannica as one of the four most important Spanish artists of the early 20th century along with Sorolla, Zuloaga and Fortuny.

Joaquín Agrasot's work is realistic and traditional, closely associated with the regionalist naturalism of his land. And this exhibition is a firm vindication of his work in the largest exhibition to date on this Oriolan painter.

Paintings from other cultural centers such as the Museo Nacional del Prado, the Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga and the National Library have arrived here.
