FULL PROGRAM

A Professional Boost
If, in addition to watching films, you're interested in how they're made, this year the festival is pulling out all the stops.

As a major new feature for this anniversary, Docs València is launching "Project Mapping," a new collaborative advisory space to guide the initial administrative and legal steps for future documentaries.

In addition, Docs València is reinforcing its role as a driving force in the industry with high-level workshops:

"Incubator": to give shape to emerging ideas.

"One Step Away from Internationalization": to help advanced works reach global markets.

"Docs in Progress": focused on the final stages of film production. Awards will also be presented. To ensure that no story remains just on paper, Docs València is awarding a series of prizes this year focused on promoting the development and internationalization of projects.

Among them are the EFD Studios award, which consists of a top-tier technical equipment package tailored to the needs of filming, and strategic consulting from Transatlántico Kaleidoskopik to strengthen co-productions.

Also included is direct aid from BBO—valued at €4,000—for the preparation of materials and international distribution, and the DocsLab VLC awards, a cash incentive to support the viability of the work.
