Central Park West – Woody Allen
Phyllis Riggs, a prestigious New York psychoanalyst, receives a visit from her friend Carol.
Thus begins this one-act comedy written in 1995 by the renowned screenwriter and director Woody Allen, brimming with his signature cinematic style: rapid-fire dialogue, witty lines, and biting irony.
It reflects on infidelity, hypocrisy, and the fragility of relationships, where the sophisticated yet deeply insecure characters end up trapped in their own lies.
