Description

Lise Meitner, woman, Jew and co-discoverer of nuclear fission flees Nazi Germany. After her forced exile to Sweden, she is pushed into the utmost scientific and economic austerity due to the vested interests of her host, Manne Siegbahn. In 1944, the only recipient of the Nobel Prize for the discovery of nuclear fission would be her close associate, Otto Hahn. The court ignored the essential role that Meitner played in the process. How does history remember you? How important is our female scientists? Has Lise Meitner been served justice? The playwright and history of science professor Robert Marc Friedman proposes an intense and vindictive text on the figure of Lise Meitner, translated into several languages ​​and performed in theaters around the world. The Spanish adaptation is a passionate and absorbing production signed by CRIT Compañía de Teatro under the stage direction of Anna Marí.
