On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the First Catalan Dona Days, this exhibition reviews the influence that feminisms have exerted in the field of cinema and videographic creation in the Catalan context, and with the ideas, the demands and the actions of this movement have been reflected in the audiovisual treballs, all donors It led to a different way of thinking, feeling and creating moving images.
Based on audiovisual works from the Filmoteca collection and other archives, all fetes by filmmakers and artists, the exhibition presents collections of film fragments, video art pieces and television reports articulats around the new fears that are going to be debated during those days –treball, barris, family, education, communication mitjans, politics, legislation, rurality and sexuality–, and proposes a possible genealogy of film feminisms in Catalonia between 1976 and the present.
