DAMIÀ ROTGER MIRÓ. Ferreries, Menorca, 1981. It's been established in Mallorca for almost twenty years. His life revolves around letters and words. He is a typographer, teacher and poet. He has published poetry books and has been awarded with prizes such as the Island of Menorca and the Bernat Vidal and Tomàs Prize 2019. His poems have been published in anthologies and he is the author of one parts in the book Sgt. Pepper’s through the mirror (T&B Publishers, 2017). Together with Marc Fuentes, he has published punk-poetic fanzines. His poems have been translated into Spanish, English, Italian and Polish.
As a typographer he is a professor of typographic design, history of typography and editorial projects at EDIB, and author of more than a dozen new typographic families, both historical and contemporary formulation. He has received numerous national and international awards and recognitions and his work has been exposed and published worldwide; Mallorca, Barcelona, America, Madrid, France, China, Rio de Janeiro, Valencia, Germany, etc.
He is vocal for the Islands of the Association of Writers in Catalan Language (AELC).
