Tomorrow begins a new cycle of Filmoteca Junior, and this month is something different from the previous proposals of this cycle and, it is that, it is necessary to make it clear that the cinema of Makoto Shinkai is not a children's cinema.
Filmoteca Junior sessions are usually configured for audiences of all ages, but the work of the director of YOUR NAME has a very specific audience: between 12 and 18 years old.
#MakotoShinkai's are stories of adolescence told from a sensitivity and a way of understanding the language purely adolescent. Adults can enjoy them because they are able to retreat back to their emotions from that period (some more than others, that's also true), but for all those who have not yet entered the maze that is to leave childhood behind, the films we offer this month will prove totally incomprehensible.
So this month, we invite you teenagers and those not so much anymore to enjoy this selection throughout the month of July.
